Creative Story From Class

Audience: Young people

John was known throughout his high school as being one of the most handsome, athletic and smart student but everything changed one afternoon. When he got home from school, his mom exciting told him that he got into Virginia Tech. Overjoyed with happiness John decided to call his girl friend Sarah to tell her the good news. When he called, there was tension in Sarah’s voice and she said she wanted to meet him at a local ice cream shop.

When John arrived, he saw tears in Sarah’s eyes and asked her what was wrong. She turned around to him and said, “I’m pregnant”. Sarah told John that she can no longer take the humiliation so she decided that she was going to take a long vacation in a far-away place, whose name is she did not mention. So one day she just disappears. As months progressed John’s grades started dropping so one day his mom asked what was wrong and he explained the situation. His mom was so frustrated that he didn’t take responsibility so she made him go find Sarah and apologize. John was unsure about where to look so he decided to fly to a random country to start look for her. He ended up in France, where he eventually found Sarah because she was wearing the earrings he had given her for their anniversary.

When he came to up to her and started talking to her, she denied knowing him. John was so confused about why she was denying him.

Suddenly, John heard a voice from his mom that he needs to wake up and start packing because they were leaving today. He woke up and realized he was dreaming while being on vacation in China. When he got back to home, he still thought about the bizarre dream so he decided to call Sarah to make sure she was doing ok. When he later saw her he realized her belly had grown so maybe it wasn’t a dream after all.

  2. That was really interesting. It reminds me of those movies with the big twist at the end. Maybe it's just because I just saw Shutter Island and I like those type of stories.
